Ingredients
- 1 (66.5 oz) can Chicken of the Sea® Chunk White Albacore Tuna in Water, drained
- 3 ½ lb dried whole wheat linguine pasta
- 3/4 c olive oil
- 4 small onions, diced
- 1 1/2 Tbsp minced garlic
- 3 Tbsp crushed red chili flakes
- 1 (#10) can tomato sauce
- 1 ½ tsp kosher salt
- 1 ½ tsp black pepper
- fresh basil, roughly torn, for garnish
Instructions
- Heat griddle over medium heat and add ½ cup olive oil, onions, and garlic. Sauté until softened and fragrant.
- Add the chili flakes, tomato sauce, ¼ c olive oil, and tuna. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer about 5 minutes.
- Cook the whole wheat pasta according to package instructions and drain.
- Toss the pasta in the sauce. Garnish with fresh basil and additional red chili.
