  1. Heat griddle over medium heat and add ½ cup olive oil, onions, and garlic. Sauté until softened and fragrant.
  2. Add the chili flakes, tomato sauce, ¼ c olive oil, and tuna. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer about 5 minutes.
  3. Cook the whole wheat pasta according to package instructions and drain.
  4. Toss the pasta in the sauce. Garnish with fresh basil and additional red chili.
