Ingredients
- 1 (43 oz) packet Chicken of the Sea® Wild Caught Light Yellowfin Tuna
- 2 lb fresh whole wheat tagliatelle pasta
- 1 ¼ c extra-virgin olive oil
- ½ c grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 c fresh-squeezed lemon juice
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- ½ c fresh chopped parsley
- ¼ c grated lemon zest
Instructions
- Cook whole wheat tagliatelle in salted water until al dente.
- Meanwhile, combine the olive oil, Parmesan, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Drain pasta, reserving 3 cups cooking liquid. Toss the cooked pasta with the lemon sauce and 2 cups of the cooking liquid. Stir in the tuna, parsley and lemon zest, then add additional cooking liquid if necessary.
