Tuna Tostadas

Taco Tuesday just became more delicious and versatile. Add these fantastic tuna tostadas to your menu and they’re so good, you might have to make a triple batch.

Servings

Ingredients

  • 16 oz tuna cubes
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 Tablespoon soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 8 tostadas shells

Toppings

  • 2 avocados, sliced
  • 1 cup salsa or pico de gallo
  • Chopped cilantro
  • Sliced jalapeño or serrano chili
  • Sliced red onion
  • 2 limes, cut into wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. In bowl combine tuna cubes, olive oil, garlic and soy sauce.
  2. Heat pan on medium high heat and cook marinated tuna until cooked through. If needed, season with additional salt and pepper, to taste. Remove from heat.
  3. Add avocado slices on tostada shell, top with cooked tuna.
  4. Top with your choice of toppings: pico de gallo/salsa, cilantro, chiles and red onions.
  5. Serve with lime wedges.
